This new class is designed to promote health and relaxation for
everyone, and is suitable for all fitness levels.  Students will be
taught a series of slow-moving, gentle exercises which are easy to
learn.  Proven benefits of practicing Tai Chi include:
 1) improved joint mobility, balance and coordination,
 2) increased mental focus and reduction of stress,
 3) improved body awareness and sense of well-being.  

This style of Tai Chi has been endorsed by the Arthritis Foundation
as a suitable exercise for those with arthritis

Heather Reade received her
instructor's licence from the
British Council for Chinese
Martial Arts in 1999.  Since
then, she has taught in
England and the USA.  
She has been a speaker for
the National Association of
Women's Clubs in the
northwest of England and is
now involved with the
Arthritis Foundation, North
Central Chapter in
Minnesota, as an advocate
and demonstrator of the
health benefits of Tai Chi.
